As The years and the decades pass we remain no nearer to a solution for our ground alas.
What chance have we when our council, developers and a knight of the realm do conspire, to consign the city's historic rugby team to a funeral pyre.
Try not to laugh at Sir Rodney's nice little reward in all of this which has just been revealed, no I'm not making it up he's been given the freedom of Wakefield.
At Newmarket, Yorkcourt wait patiently till Trinity are off the scene, then serious money from new housing they will then be able to glean.
Councillor Box hides his deadly mission to slowly strangle our great club into submission, by giving out false soundbites of hope while around the club's neck he slowly tightens the rope.
His latest is the feasibility of a stadium at Balne Lane which has just been released, does this mean plans for Newmarket and Belle Vue are now deceased?
Call me cynical my friends but when our stadium quest finally comes up against the rocks, it will have been surely steered there by the nice Mr Box.
