I am dismayed at some of the OTT negativity on here after that but one thing I will keep saying is, if we would learn when to and when not to take 2 points when on offer, we would win more close games. CC please, please have a word!!! And if it was you who chose to spurn 2 at 4-2, please learn yourself. Big error. I strongly suspect we'd have come away with the points if we had gone 6-2

I agree. They were giving penalties away for off side and we were letting them keep doing it until they stunted our attack.
Taking the 2 would have just kept pulling us away till we could start to play more expansive.

Previous comments are correct and to compound the issue our forwards do not play together by running in support play with the man with the ball thereby the man with the ball has options + we draw them in more. We play one man up by a forward & continue but then pass sideways hoping the backs can break. Our line was flat all the time. Yes the going was heavy but it's same for both sides, they ran, we did not !

Lets add not reaching touch with penalties to the list. 3 in 5 games so far for Broughy.

think we didn't take the two because ref gave a team warning, however the next set KR were penalised and so sin-bin?

I cant agree at all with taking 2 at 4-2 up. Never seen any team do it that i can remember.
Also i cant remember the last team to win a SL game without scoring a try ?

We completed our first 3 sets by kicking the ball into touch.

The set before they scored we also kicked into touch, if we're more than a score clear or desperate for a breather then i can see the argument but by default if we're near the opposition line i think we should be putting attacking kicks in. Both our wingers are good in the air, also with Brough we should be able to grubber to the in goal without putting it dead.
