Looks like we are on Sky,Friday the 13th.
i'm not myself superstitious,but the omens are very ominous. i predicted this outcome some 10 weeks or so ago on here,that Sky would love the Wakey v London game as the "£1 Million game"
How the French Connection UK have we finished up in a position like this.
We have to win no ifs or buts.
Can't rely on Salford beating HKR or Catalans [highly unlikely] to beat Huddersfield.

If you look back at that early season victory at Headingley, with all the talk of challenging for silverware, then consider what we need to do next weekend, you can only wonder what the hell happened!

I know injuries have played a big part in the disruption, but we were still picking up good wins when that bad injury run started.

Anyway, it's beat London or go down, simple as that. We can't rely on Huddersfield losing to what is now an utterly effortless Catalans side, and Hull KR will be throwing everything they've got at Salford.

I personally think it's down to bad man management we've ended up in this position. There were rumours flying about players being unhappy the way Horo and Pauli were treated, one's contract was terminated and the other sent out on loan. Huby was then released and more disastrous results followed. And then there's Hampshire being singled out.

I was chatting to someone after the game last week and we both said that all the problems seemed to start around the time of Horo announcing his retirement, then subsequently having his contract terminated, and Pauli going out on loan.

Indeed, from an outsiders point of view it's ever since Chester went public over his displeasure regarding Pauli's attitude. Injuries can explain a lot of the results but the effort seemed to evaporate and only recently looks to have returned. Perhaps it's just coincidence and ultimately we'll never know if anything went on to cause such a disastrous run of results.

Maybe the truth is were not as good as what we thought and we have returned to our natural level of fighting relegation.

Remember early doors in the season when people used to get shouted down on here for saying a particular game was must win for us ,think that’s been well and truly put to bed now and won’t raise its ugly head again after this season

What did happen with Horo? Was he just punted out so we could get someone else in, or did he decide his body had given up? I always saw him as our pack leader, wasn't the biggest but put himself about more than the rest of them.

Interesting that he is still over here.

I just remember him saying he was retiring at the end of the season, then the next thing his contract was terminated with mutual agreement. Then Pauli was out on loan at Salford.

I definitely agree with 'pack leader'. A few people I've spoken to this season saw him as the same.

He was in the bar after the game last week.
