Personally wouldn't know whether our coaches are ' are out of date & touch on subject matter' but have watched interviews with a few of the guys that work with the players and they seem to say similar things, regarding how they set up a players fitness regime when they're returning from injury or in preseason and that every player is different, due to things like niggles, old injuries, age, where there cardio is, whether they need more weight training or circuit training etc, and they then bespoke each fitness regime differently, that seems to be similar to to what the article was saying
Do you have any insight why you think Salford are so much better at fitness and rehab, or is more to do with they finished higher up the table than us this year. Leeds finished next to us, are their systems to fitness, recovery and nutrition etc lacking & out of date also? they're meant to have some of the better backroom staff in RL and have great facilities as well to help in that process, so what's going on there?
I've had a few mates who've played SL and it's a question that's come up a few times over the years and practically to a man they say there's practically no difference between one clubs pre season, fitness and nutrition etc to others, some try a few different things here and there and new ideas come around that some clubs are quicker to jump on but generally in SL it's meant to be all very similar.
