Just a concerned thought ,westy,tom and tinny ,all knee worries ,could be a disaster waiting to happen

Tom is young and fully recovered once from same injury on other leg so no problem , I got shot down on this forum when I said that Westerman was a risk because of his knee so can see were you are coming from , also Wood as.had 3 operations on shoulder with the budget we got hope they both prove me wrong

Of course players suffering major injuries is a concern, but the season is still 3 months away and i suspect that the coaching and fitness staff know a lot more about the risk and rehabilitation factors than we do

Westerman doesn't even have an injury, he carried on playing during the match and for the rest of the season as far as I recall and hasn't required surgery, again as far as I know.

I think he brings a spare knee to training just in case

On the basis that just about all players will have had surgery of some sort, we should probably throw the whole squad into the "what if" thread.
We know that last season was awful for injuries and it's reasonable to expect things to be a little better this time but, who knows.

I guess that it's just part of the fun of being a SL coach.

By the very nature of the game there must be very few players who have not had a major injury of sorts. We did relatively well on the injury front in 2017 and 2018. Last year we got hit bad, but then so did many other teams.

There are few players who don't have niggling injuries all of which can turn into career-ending injuries at any moment. This thread is just doom-mongering for the sake of it, we are at no more risk than any other club.
