Would you take a punt on Jordon Lilly. mom against us in the cup, he run the show Bradford v Leeds last year which Bradford won. Never got a fair crack at Leeds.
Think he could be worth a go at a bargain price.

Half back is such a pivotal position that you should always make it a priority to get the very best you can afford. The difference Sezer (sp) at giants makes to that team is ridiculous. I’m not sure he’s proved to be anything but very good in the division below.

No pace i'm afraid and his skills are not good enough to make up for that

He's got a great attitude but it'd be a signing based on cost were a SL side to sign him. IMO of course.

They said that about Finn and three years ago he was in the top three HB imho.

True it’s hard to make a player faster but I don’t see any reason why his skills can’t improve dramatically with experience. If that were not the case Wakefield wouldn’t still be in SL, polishing rough diamonds is what we do and we do it well.

If his attitude is good he’s well worth a punt.

Be interesting to know JK’s opinion. If he thought the lad had potential I’d take him in a flash. FWIW I think he is probably where he belongs for now but under JK’s guidance I’d keep an eye on him.

Chessie says in this weeks Wakey Express that due to the current predicament recruitment is on hold so, for me, we should look at look at giving Max a further chance to prove what he can do at half-back.

Wrong.

Always rated Finn. Not quick, but unlike Lilley, he can defend. A far better rugby brain too. No comparison.

Connor Bailey is a better prospect than Lilley and, I hope, will be better than Finn too (there a "better" players than Finn, who would die to have the career he has had).
