Anyone seen Chris Chester interview statement ? Just goes to show our resumption of the sport could also potentially go very bad for a club
That has more than two covid confirmed cases ?

I may be wrong, but I think he maybe referring to the rule “if a player involved in scrummaging, then gives a positive test for covid 19, then All those players in that game who were involved in scrums, would have to be quarantined for 14 days.
Good luck to all players, I’m not sure if restarting the season is worth it, even though it be the death knell to Rugby league.

That was part of his interview

As Chris Chester is the coaches representative on the RL Laws Committee..

It was also added that if 2 players from the same team test positive for Covid then PHE / Sport England would have the power to force the full club to isolate for 2 weeks, resulting in loss/delay of fixtures etc.

It almost seems inevitable that, should any player from any club contract the virus, there will be some cases within the sport.
What I struggle to understand is that, in RL (and RU), there is inevitable close physical contact and there doesn't seem too much difference whether it's when a player is being tackled or whether it's in a scrum.
I know that scrums in Union can last for 10 minutes but, its hardly the same in RL

Yes, it was those things (having now watched the interview).

Why anyone starts a thread saying "oooh, what do you think about what Chessie said?", without reference to, ya know, what he said, I can't fathom.

I thought he may be referring to the new re start tackle rule. Assuming they bring it in. Bad news as, according to Chester, the club invested in a "wrestling room" pre season.
