His success rate in the UK has been dreadful, can't see why he'd improve with us to be honest.

I don't know what sort of wage he'd demand but in the director of rugby role like Kear, he might be able to offer Chester some advice.

No thanks. As has been said his record on recent times is shocking, the game has moved on beyond him. He was director of Rugby at Salford when they avoided the drop thanks to the greatest escape of all time. They finished the regular season in the top four without him the following year. He struggled to get a full time, full cap Hull KR squad back up via the qualifiers, scraped survival the following year thanks to Widnes being utter bobbins then was sacked when heading for relegation last year, Tony Smith replacing him and just managing to keep them up. Now walked out on widnes. Watched them lose against Dewsbury pre-covid, they were awful.

So again, i’d rather not!

Just because these are desperate times doesn’t mean we need to look for ever more desperate ways to solve them. It’s like trying to use petrol to put a fire out, jeez.
