Still comes back to, last season, a team who played the least amount of games, but a low lost games count, we're in the play offs !
So, who also verifies covid, a test is not overseen @ source ! We had more players positive & self isolating than Leeds & hudders,
Get they cancelled their games ! No one instructed them to continue with other academy players ?
The point that you make regarding whether clubs go ahead with fixtures where they have players isolation can be contentious and I agree that last season, Trinity seemed to make far more effort to get through all of their games than some other clubs did and assuming that relegation is back on the cards, this is something that all clubs will need to consider carefully.
If there is a scenario where a club needs to avoid defeat in their last game to make the play offs or, avoid relegation, the system could potentially be abused.
If there is a play off or relegation decider that is cancelled through covid, leaving one of the clubs involved in a position where they could benefit, then, there would no doubt be a HUGE problem
Having said that, with covid still likely to be a factor, at least everyone knows the rules before we start the season.
Lets hope that thing's settle down and we can all enjoy the season and that we can see some games from the stands at BV.
