There is a difference between a club's coach talking about his team's injury issues and an impartial broadcaster finding excuses for one of their preferred teams.

A good game to start the season. It's a game we cant' lose and we can't win - a free hit.
If we win it's because of the Leeds team being devastated by injuries to their star players and if we lose? well, that's to be expected when relegation fodder meets a top team.
