Got my HNC in Structures nearly 50 years ago, but now so much has changed in current British Standards, Codes of Practice, design methods, heallth and safety law, new materials etc etc to extend any professional knowledge without public indemnity would be a very dicey action.

Yep fully accept some things need to be done by practicing professionals, however opinions are welcome so I may be asking yours at some point as every little helps. Thanks
