Liam Marshall talked about it in Wigan's friendly against Salford.
Seemingly the players undergo a test at the start of the season for things like memory etc and there is a baseline score that they then have to hit in order to pass the HIA.
I didn't see the tackle at the time so can't comment, but they don't take injuries into account AFAIA at the disciplinary so TJ being out wouldn't have had any effect.
