I think, as he says, it was better for him and the club in the end.
Should never have been put in that position but I'm sure his mental wellbeing s a lot better now.

My only output on social media is this forum.

It’s tough going on here at times and for that reason I’ve never bothered with the rest.

CC should have done the same, just don’t go on it.

Of course that’s east for an old f*rt like me to say.

In truth the whole horrible entity invades every part of the lives of almost anyone under 40 and I accept it’s hard for them to avoid.

All the same I do think CC should have kept away from it more than he did, he allowed himself to get sucked in and that’s no criticism because it’s oh so easily done.

It will take generation I fear before the beast is under control, I don’t envy young people here. To be open is great but to be forced to live your whole life in public because a few narcissists enjoy doing so and demand the same from others, not for me.

CC get of social media and stay off, for your own sake.

I hope Poching does the same, doesn’t strike me as the social media type though I may be miles off.

Social media is the catalyst for those who are cowardly keyboard warriors to hide behind.
It can be the scourge of modern society when misused and clearly not controlled.
CC would have been better keeping off it but there are always those I suppose who fall over themselves to tell you about the crap that gets posted. Personally I’d close the lot but I’m a dinosaur who was taught better social skills than today’s kids are.

It wasn't a matter of his social media presence.

Firstly, why should he not do something just because idiots want to abuse him.

But more to the point, its his family and friends who also use it and are affected.
Which carries on to kids in school etc.

I'm all over social media. It's something I enjoy.
Just like a gun, it's the idiots that use it that are the problem. Not the gun.
