That's a disappointment. I had high hopes he would be the successor to Miller, but obviously not going to happen.
TBH I had a niggling doubt when we allowed him to stay all last season at Newcastle.

Well it did sound like that tbh, sorry.

Bailey needed to star at Newcastle, I’ve kept an eye on him and I can’t say he did tbh. I think a lot of our young players don’t seem to realise there is a very small window of opportunity in which to shine and being on loan in the lower divisions is that opportunity.

When Crowther was loaned out he got himself noticed, Kershaw even more so. I never once saw Bailey play and leave me believing he was star quality. I may be wrong and the best is yet to come but I do wish DR players would make it their mission to showcase themselves, I’m not sure some do tbh.

Shame though as he was touted for great things at one point.

I may have got the name wrong but the no6 in the U19’s looks quite tasty to me and maybe that’s where WP sees the future, i think he’s calls Charlie Abrahams???

If you've kept an eye on him, then you'll know he only played one game in the halfs, he's been played in the second row for the rest of his games, and that's been at 11 & 12 not even loose. pretty difficult for him to shine in a position he hasn't been playing in for the last 4 years in the scholarship and academy.

Charlie’s dad Steve is on the coaching side at belle vue and also coaches the Wakefield Hawks where his younger son plays alongside my grandson but plays to a standard well above his age group .

No need for the aggression I did say I might have the name wrong hence the ??? Perhaps if you read what people post you might come across as less bitter.

I’ve clearly got the wrong name to the wrong player but as there is no info on the website or match commentary it’s not easy for the casual observer. My apologies for not having your knowledge.

The point however stands, there is a player in the U19’s who’s caught my eye and I was purely speculating that perhaps the new coaching team has decided to concentrate on.

There is no conspiracy if that helps
