I want us to do well against Saints, but I am a realist, we just cannot match their play at their speed in attack or defence especially for 80 minutes, we also do not have the concentration & still make silly errors.
Therefore I am afraid of a big score of saints on Friday night ??????
However, I would love to be proved wrong & would gladly accept being wrong, but again I am a realistq.

His point is a good one, vasty, and will probably be correct. Being a realist isn't necessarily being a drama queen. I can see Saints possibly going through the season unbeaten.

I must have lived through over 60 away games at St Helens… and they usually end up with a comfortable home win or a thrashing… occasionally we scare them and come away with a narrow defeat… and incredibly rarely we sneak a win… I hope the team continues its steady progression and she continuation of improvement from last week.

Seriously he is being a drama Queen to a degree, every game is winnable and if you go in thinking otherwise you will lose there is no doubting that. Positive thinking has to come from the fans and not just the players so to concede defeat before hand is a total cop out in my book.

As far as I’m concerned we will win on Friday just as I thought we would against Catalan. I won’t believe otherwise until the final whistle. Sod being a realist, it’s boring apart from anything else.

Think the Catalan result proves we can go to Saints on Friday and give them a good game .Not saying we are going to win ,But more confident than I was, after the way we played against Catalan

I wish I could agree with you regarding this Friday's result. We've fared well so far really with such a difficult 4-game start to the season.

I'm never quite sure why you post these type of posts.
Perfectly entitled to do it but its hardly ground-breaking. Sts are better than us both individually and as a team.

However, sport doesn't work like that. If it did the top team would be undefeated and the second team would only lose 1, and so on.

There are lots of scenarios where we could win. But if the result is the only thing you are interested in, you probably haven't chosen the right team.
I want them to win and will be disappointed if we don't but I wont be unhappy if they are at least competitive and make Sts play their best to win.

a under 20 point loss is a win for us ..... for and against is important in relegation battle ,if we keep our scores close like we have been when we win a game whenever that maybe teams on 0 wins will have to win 2 games to go past us ....
