I think gates would probably double with a winning team and when the ground is improved.
To get the winning team, I'm afraid we need a backer, because all the hardwork MC and his team have done has kept us in SL, but to win GF's and such, expensive quality is needed, and we simply don't have it.
All correct until the last bit. We don’t need a rich backer, in fact for us I don't think it works.
What we need is what we have. People who do it the right way and build from the ground up no pun intended.
Once we get the ground works done and the academy production really kicks in watch us go. It’s just a matter of patience now.
One thing is for certain when it does it will be sustainable this time.
Our finances are the tightest in SL.
We don’t sell players anymore.
We are everywhere in the local community now.
We are about to get a stadium we can work with. Yes it’s not state of the art but it will be fit for purpose.
We are producing a steady stream of youngsters who have real quality.
The tide is turning but it won’t be rushed.
So do you want another Glover or a Koulkash? I don't, you get a two season thrill but in the end these people ruin clubs as often as not.
There are no quick fixes in my opinion.
