The draw for the sixth round of the Betfred Challenge Cup, the stage at which eleven Super League clubs join the competition, was made this evening at Elland Road which will be the venue for the semi-final double header on Saturday the 7th May along with the Women´s Challenge Cup final.
With Toulouse Olympique XIII having declined their invitation to take part in this year's competition, the sides entered into tonight's draw were; Castleford Tigers, Catalans Dragons, Huddersfield Giants, Hull FC, Hull KR, Leeds Rhinos, Salford Red Devils, St Helens, Wakefield Trinity, Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors, Sheffield Eagles, Barrow Raiders, Whitehaven, Featherstone Rovers, and either Bradford Bulls or Leigh Centurions, who had still to play in the final round five encounter.

Another year were we don't even get close to a meaningful big game ,unless it is a game to keep us up.
. Sad, but true, I'm afraid. I really feel for the young 'uns today. I'm lucky to have been around during the really good times of the sixties when Trinity ruled the roost. Similarly, I've gone through really bad times, but we always thought something good was around the corner. Daft when you think that you would have to be in your early fifties now to have experienced a Trinity Wembley visit. All credit to the young 'uns though, they are still turning up at BV. Let's hope there's something for them to sing about this year.
