I doubt that many of the younger supporters will ever have see a spear tackle as bad as that? Calling it a potential career ender would underestimate the possible damage to the Hull guy there.

I think the initial movement and position that the defender gets into is more out of momentum. What is going to be the killer for him that will see him sit out for a good few weeks is the motion he makes to forcibly slam him into the ground. He basically follows though with the tackle despite the player being in such a dangerous position.

Hopefully he takes his ban and learns from it. Very exciting player but you can't get away with such actions.
