I feel we have run full circle, in 12 months we are back to the stage where we simply cannot win a match even with a full team, what makes it worse is that it's by some large scores now, we are truly in a hole, little belief or fight for a win, too many excuses. I would love to sign off on a positive but that's very hard to visualize at this point in time !

For once I think you’re right.
Nothing much has changed, however it can if the players want it to.
I also agree with you vssty & thereby hangs the problem, it seems to be only when the players decide to perform when under threat which is always near the end of season, I genuinely feel for WP, no matter who is the coach the players behaviour & execution does not alter, all the coaches we have had cannot be wrong ! My problem is, I am a supporter of the club but not this continued players constant poor performance, it's not the lost games as all club's loose, but we have made it an art !
I do like Poching, and live close to him, but I didn’t think he was the right man, long term.
They needed a culture change before, and still do.
Until that happens, nothing will change for the long haul.
If personnel don’t buy into it, we don’t want them, regardless of who they are
I think your part right ,that if players don’t buy into to our ways they need to go ,but I also feel Willie is the right man at present ,he’s played for us ,bought into what we are about and knows the constraints in place with . It must be great coaching a team of all stars and can dip into the transfer market when required to cover injuries, unfortunately that’s not us at present or will in the foreseeable future , we’ve got to be more savvy than most with our recruiting , and to that end I think we’ve come unstuck somewhat . The players have got us into this mini slump and it will be the players that get us out of it .

Blimey give the guy a chance!
I made it very clear I blame the players and only the players.
WP has had no chance to change much and neither would any other miracle coach.
Until more money comes online and certain contracts end then what do you suggest?
As far as I can tell WP has managed three signings. Hall excellent, Adibayo not sure yet, Whitbread a mistake IMHO. Not too bad. All cheap.
I thought Gaskell was a good signing and wasn’t bothered by the injury tag. Sadly that’s not the issue, nobody seems able to play with him. Lineman and Hood were decent enough.
I’m sure WP has lots of players in mind but this isn’t the season, not for him or anyone else.

They were buying into it when it suited them 3 weeks ago.
The term prima-donnas springs to mind.
As I’ve already mentioned far to many players who are really good at training.
When you buy players to strengthen the squad and not the first 13 .,this is what happens .80% of the first team have been hear for years yet we have spent a lot of cash on bringing players in who did nothing to strengthen the team .We have been lucky to come across Murphy and Hall and it's a bit of light after what as happened in the last 3+ years
Like a few on here I've been a fan for over forty years and seen plenty of lows with a few highs in between. Throughout most of this time it always 'hurt' for a few days after a disappointing loss, but for the last couple of seasons I can say it doesn't hurt anymore when we have days like last Saturday at HKR. I still love the game, love the club buy the season tickets and merchandise. Constantly bumping along the bottom is all I can see ahead and am not sure that the new development will be the panacea that many think it will, I sincerely hope it is. Perhaps at sixty six years of age I've finally realised that there is life beyond Wakefield Trinity. (but I'll still be there on Thursday hoping we smash the Shudds )
