I always thought that he called an abrupt end to his career for no obvious reason I could see. Now we know why, absolute best of luck to the lad.

A lot of rugby players invest in property, especially turning cheap terraced properties into 4/5 bed HMO where they can reap the most money from them.

I am pretty sure that's what Alan Hunte did, every time he earned enough he bought a cheap house.
Ended up with 6 or 7 in the end if memory serves me right?

I’m not sure but probably so. Think there are government schemes in regards to HMO’s etc so can work out quite lucrative.

I think Matt Diskin has a decent property portfolio and BJB was getting into too.

Good luck to the lad,a quality player; very quick and always tried his best for us.As regards buying houses I've always liked Homes under the Hammer on tv,but also very aware that almost everyone they show makes a good return,and hardly anybody loses a shed load of cash.
Obviously some do very well, but everybody?

Never up to TJ or BJB quality. Probably more comparable to Kieran Dixon.
