I like him because he backs himself all the time. Does'nt always work but I don't care because the more he does it the better he will get and the more specatacular will be the results.

Luckily he is also physically well built, strong, tall enough and with a decent turn of pace. Can't really go wrong with that if your attitude is good.

That said he is not and never will be a F/B, because his achilles heel is his discomfort under the bomb and I don't think that will improve.

Worth a shout in the halves over Rooney, looks like he wants to take the line on, good support player (like Rooney)...but the critical difference is that Grix still has a bit of pace. Worth a punt.

hes more than a bit of pace, the day broughy took out jenson last year grix flew over to cover him I couldn't believe the speed he does have, my eyes was fixed on grix,as broughy was coming towards us

Grix was excellent on Sunday(along with Drew) and seems to have gained alot of confidence from his superb preformences for Ireland in the world cup.

He could well be the next player targeted to change his 'nationallity' back to English if he keeps this form up.

Well played Sunday by the way...............we were lucky not to get beat by more.
