Our problems started last season when we unsettled a winning side by bringing back players that were not match ready, I would hope that JK has learned a lesson from that. If we do need another hooker then let's bring a hooker in as a direct replacement rather than bringing another stand off in and re organising the whole team half way through the game to accomodate him.

Totally agree with that. Rooney has a long way to go two achieve his place back he has been looking clueless for a long time now he must try two get some form back in the reserves until deserving of a first team spot.

My main issue with Rooney is that bloody inside pass he always does!

He's a fantastic support player and is normally the first person backing up when we make a clean break, but when we're about 5-10 metres out he always use the inside ball.

If he dummied it once, i reckon he'd be able to get over as the whole defence wouldn't be ready for it!

He's such a confidence player that if he makes one mistake at the begninning of the match it tends to haunt him for the rest of the game!

Yes the main area I really think Rooney is a asset is his support play he reads the game well.

My men to watch in Fridays encounter are Brad Drew and Ali Lauiti'iti. Both game breakers and both coming off good games last week. Drew is a thinker, a schemer. He will play and play behind the line and then BANG... He has made a 50 metre break and passed to the support player and you are counting the points. He controls the shape of the Wakefield play and when he is on form, so are they. Lauiti'iti seems to be getting involved a lot more these days and that is a sign of good things to come for Leeds. He attacks the line and very rarely gets knocked back. He also doesnt get put down very often either giving himself time to promote the ball. 110m and 5 offloads last Friday tells its own story and this with a quiet 2nd half too. When he is on the pitch Leeds look a hell of a lot more dangerous down the right side.
