Why would Fev want a stadium with a 12,000 capacity though ?

I will say this slow and hopefully this time it may sink in wether we are a backward place or not is irrelevant the fact is WE DO NOT NEED CAS OFF THE COUNCIL FOR OUR GROUND, we are building it with the assetts from the 17 acres of land the backward club that is Fev own. Unlike the forward thinking Wildcats WE DO NOT NEED COUNCIL CASH. I also would not poo, poo the idea if i were you because your not exactly inundated with options now are you

You'll be building nothing unless you can get the council to reclassify your land. So you do need the council to bring home this windfall - hence, I suspect, why your CEO is so generously considering offering us a stadium share. Whatever it takes to persuade the council and seal the deal.

I hate to see the erosion of greenbelt - otherwise, I'd be all in favour.... :D

To be fair, i know a lot of Wakey fans who also support an amateur team.

Maybe Fev are thinking that if we share a stadium with them, then we'd adopt them as the amateur team we support!

Could I respecfully make a suggestion to you.

Go back to your own board and get all excited about how with your 17 acres you're going to get a spanking new stadium, become the richest club in the Wakefield District, get a franchise and become the only team in Super League in the District. Leave us to wallow in self pity in the certain knowledge that in 3 years we will be thrown out of Super League (along with Castleford), still be playing in a sh*te stadium and probably go bust and die.

In the words of Catherine Tate - "do we look bovvered" about your venture - best of luck with it.
