every year something happends at the club shop we seem to get it wrong every year. Medium and small home shirts aint in for another 3week + so me and 4 others are having to wait now and 1 of them I will have to post it to a different country. Dont get me wrong the shop is miles better but stuff like this we cock up every year it is frustrating! One year no shorts every short that was in was XXL car, car flags not there for ages etc. Sort it out WAKEY stop getting it wrong.
The club orders x amount of shirts based on previous sales. They sell out quickly then good business, shirts have a limited shelf life. What is the problem, it's your fault for not getting in there soon enough. Do you expect ASDA to stock twice as many pork pies just so you can buy one last minute then chuck away the rest, be realistic please.
Its Alexandra mill Batley. They are the local Kooga Stockists, Hence why they have the Dulls and other clubs too. Great selection of Rugby gear. We get our young un's junior rugby stuff from there.
Directions from Wakefield
Take Dewsbury road over M1 junction 40, Continue up dual carraigeway(mad mile) at next roundabout turn right and go past Dewsbury RL ground. Straight over next r'bout and through traffic lights onto Grange Road. Straight over first r'bout, under railway ach and at next r'bout its straight in front of you!!!

[clubhatmode] Whilst you are saving a few quid on your shirt if you buy from here, you undoubtedly take away a valuable income stream from the club. It is a free world, and you can choose either way (you certainly won't effect the club if you buy a Bulls shirt!!!), but please bear this in mind if you do choose this way[/clubhatmode]

Well said!! The week before Christmas the club had the shirts in and had all sizes too. Got one for the lad (normal 10 year old) and one for myself (rather oversized nearly 40 year old) Asked at the time and was informed of how many they had in stock. Not sure if 5 or 5.5 thousand shirts had been delivered.....Either way i was rather impressed. Like wise for the rest of the stock in there. Each time i go in i seem to see something new. Well decent variety compared to some sporting outlets

Nice one!
As said - it's a free choice, just for people to consider that the return on a shirt bought here will be close to, if not exactly, zero!
Now that wouldn't pay for our next batch of 16 year-olds now, would it!

Quite right!
In my situation (different to most other people's, admittedly), I don't mind spending my money on items from the club shop as opposed to cheaper retail outlets.
I don't get to see that many games a year, don't have a season ticket, so I see this as my way of contributing something financially towards the club, and still getting something I like in return. I don't have the expenses that a lot of people/familes have on a weekly basis, following their team, but I don't have that enjoyment either.
On my last visit, the shop was well stocked, even though it was mid-season, and well run. In addition to other stuff, I bought a shirt for a friend of mine over here and was told that if it was the wrong size, I could post it back and they'd replace it. I don't know if I'd have got that service from a normal retail outlet, but I doubt it.
The club shop like alot of other departments at Wakefield has come a very long way in a short space of time. There will always be area's that they need to improve upon and maybe it is better you voice your concerns to them then us. They are the people who can make the difference.
Medium and small home shirts have been on sale. The problem is that they were sold out. The demand for shirts this season has been stronger than anticipated.
This is quite difficult for the shop because if they order too many they are stuck with stock at the end of the season that they loose money on.
The message to you must be loud and clear, get in there early next season and you should be OK.
Same occurred last season.....was purchased a large home shirt last christmas, needed to change it to a medium. They had sold out; after 7 weeks of waiting for medium home shirt i decided just to return it and get my money back.
