Disappointed to lose but good game
Morrison and Jefferies linked up well and caused Wigan a lot of problems... Tronc (dubbed the new Dallas Hood by someone who won't be named
) looked a great signing ... reminded me a bit of David Fairleigh (Saints) bit strong physical yet has a good eye for an offload, Millard and Newton were solid... with Terry putting in some good hits. Korki looked very hungry for ball and looked in great shape.
Roll on quins
To be fair i think the result is not really important more the performance, and while both teams have much to work on Trinity looked far more polished overall.
Tronc had a good game my only concern is that in his later spells Wigan seemed to "work him out" but this could be due to match fitness, initially he could do what he wanted and Wigan were powerless to stop him. Halves looked very good, Murphy was outstanding.
Penalties for both sides were killer think both sides scored off the back of most penalties and defence needs to be worked on by both sides.
Morrison and Newton controlled the game nicely, and Morton showed some nice touches as did Gleeson and Murphy.
The pass to send Murphy in was a belter classiest part of the afternoon for me, but it still took a great finish.
Short kicking game was also superb from Trinity.
