You're probably right, although imo, we should be trying to avoid the average imports, we would be far better off with British players, preferably local british players, who understand what it means to pull on a Trinity shirt and who wont get home sick.
The better teams in the league have quality imports and not "average joes", wheras lower down the table we seem to go for a different type of player who we hope will come good.
Sometimes this does pay off but, far too often they just aren't good enough,
Having said that Aiton has been superb for us this season and we'd certainly take another couple of his calibre.
