for gods sake stop over analysing everything. its an honest interview take it for what it is and be glad the guy is honest
For god sake grow up man. This club has been shafted more times than your average coal face. I have no idea as to Carters level of honesty but what I do know is every previous Chairman has sounded just as plausible - Glover and Pearman spring to mind.
Question everything and take nothing on face value, we as fans are in the unfortunate position where we have to be super vigilant - cue Bazzo!
Mr Carter is on a steep learning curve but surely now he must realise that this is a business like no other and everything he thought he knew is pretty much useless. He needs to listen more, his choice TBF but I'd suggest the Hetheringtons, John Kear should he come even Ted Richardson or probably more likely Eric Timmins. I'm not suggesting any of them get a seat on the board or their word to be gospel but I know I'd want that level of support if it was available.
I mention the above because they all have Wakefield at heart to a greater or lesser degree.
In ten years should he last I think Mr Carter could be a superb CEO but he arrived knowing nothing and IMO it's a ten year apprenticeship.
