ha ha I agree but at least I do watch the nsw cup games we get our players from - and if people think a player who can not make the knights first grade team is going to be our savior they will be mistaken. Solid player but will not be the x factor to get us to top 4

In round 1 2016 Tyler Randell played 80 minutes at hooker for Newcastle and made a club record 62 tackles with 0 missed.
In 2016 he averaged about 40 minutes per game for 26.5 tackles with 1.2 missed.
Defence is the best part of his game.
He is a decent dummy half, but not special.
He is a decent 5/8 if you need one.
He can play lock forward and is a good chance to be your best defender if he does, but won't add much to your attacking metres.
In short, he is an above average defender at NRL level, so should be excellent at ESL level, and his other skills are adequate at NRL level, so should be above average at ESL level, but I wouldn't look to him to be a team leader.

From games i've seen him play on premier he looked like a bit better version of Mikey Sio. His style should complement well with Wood.

He kicks a fair bit in reserve grade, not so much in firsts. He is ok at it.

the point is he is playing reserve grade and the knights who are coming last in the NRL and won 4 games in 2 years! he cant make that team
