I see this season as something of a replica of last season, have a great season, finish out of the middle 8's, then collapse in the Super 8's, it's a pity because as I say we've had a wonderful season, well above my expectations.

Losing to a form team away from home isn't a disgrace, I'm sure you'll grab a couple of wins in the 8.

For me the biggest dissapointnent is that you brought a good following but by the end only very few fans stayed to clap. You're one win away from the top 4 and again have defeated the odds of easily becoming in the top 8.
I thought your players deserved the appreciation.
Saying that I'm sure most of you who went who are reading this are the ones who stayed.

Interesting observation although, at least we had some fans there to start with.
Wakefield were mickey poor last night and if they had played like that all season we would be battling for the wooden spoon with Widnes.
How many were at the game last night, because it looked like the Huddersfield fans couldnt be bothered to turn up at the start, never mind still being there at the end

I thought after the Saints game Trinity were done for the season with players thinking objective one was achieved so can now clock off. Results like this only strengthen that suspicion. In a sense they would be right.

Personally all who need ops ought to be booked in now ready for next year. We aren't going to get into the top four so blood kids and rest a few tired bodies. Two seasons playing outside of the middle 8's should allow the club to grow (notwithstanding the elephant in the room) so whilst disappointing to lose we've got to look at the long game.

We were awful two seasons ago and perhaps should've gone down. Now maybe for the second year in a row we have some kind of stability. Almost unheard of since I've been watching.

This has been my big fear throughout the season JINGER. There was always that feeling that the bubble would burst. That's the story of Wakefield Trinity, I'm afraid.

even without all our mistakes Shudds looked much more enthusiastic eager & determined...worst 40 mins of season followed by 2nd worst 40 mins of season

I do think some are jumping a bit too soon.
We have lost one game in the 8.
Of course the others will be hard and possibly harder but we need to learn how to play teams who know how to step up at this part of the season and this is all part of it.

Is improvement needed? yes
Are we capable? Yes
Will we? Not sure but we have a good chance with Chester steering the ship.

At the start of the week, we were in two minds whether to go to the game or not.
SWMBO then said that she DID want to go, so I got 4 tickets for us, daughter and her BF, fully expecting another determined effort from the boys
That's £84 I won't be getting back then

as expected we have decided top 8 job done- typical close enough is good enough wakey,,,,, is it any wonder nobody wants to build us a stadium- when our sole goal every year is not to get relegated

Big support? you filled about 1 block of the stand
