How can anyone moan about poor attendances when crap like this happens. I'm sure hundreds of people are affected by changes .Oh well, watching it on Sky it is.

I couldnt make the saturday night anyway, so its a result for me, as i can now get to the game.

It makes selling season tickets difficult i imagine with all the chopping and changing. I get one every year, but regularly miss four or five home games for one reason or another.

I'd invited a Saints fan who lives in London up for the weekend so he could join me at the game. That is clearly off now due to the fixture change and there is no way he make it. At the moment I still think I can make it although I have to battle the M62.

Did someone say last year that home clubs for televised matches get £15k from the TV pot? If so, with all the lost hospitality and fans/schoolchildren who can no longer make it I wonder if that is scant consolation.

I also wonder if we are still in with a shout for the top 4 come the last round if our Wigan home match will be moved too. Nice to get the TV profile but I'm sure that Daddycool will be frustrated at the lost potential revenue from not having a weekend home match during the Super 8s.

And if we have to move the wigan game from saturday that means a lot of fans would miss out on what could be the very last game at the old girl.

You didnt used to get money for a televised game Wildshot, unless something has changed, since my time with the club.

Things do change though all the tine with rugby league. The super and middle 8s didnt exist then.

I've always seen it bandied around that teams get like 20k for it being on TV but never anything official. A more indirect benefit is in terms of sponsorship for next year. If you can turn around and say to asponsor look we were on TV about 12-15 times last year as opposed to three then you're gonna be able to command a nicer wedge of cash.

Only the Sky games. The others are up to the clubs
