Yep don't get me wrong I loved it. The other thing to remember is that if every game had that physical intensity there would be some very short careers.

Again the Aussies only use as much as is needed what we saw was great but mad. That said if every game was like that we'd be the number one sort in the world.

As for the reffing it's weird - never seen so many forward passes given - flavour of the month offence I assume.

Saw it live at Headingley a few years back, and it gave me goose bumps then. Unlike this weekends game, which was hard but fair, the 80 minutes that followed were all out war.

It was a pre match of contrasts.
Shaking hands, man hugs, then the "circle" which was special, followed by the double Haka and then the most keenly fought and even game of the world cup.
Quality is unimportant when you have 2 well matched sides really going at it. Superb.

On a side note, IF England face PNG on their own patch, it will be a really tough encounter

that game was just the warm up for Tonga NZ this weekend, with another double haka to please the purists.....can't wait...it's a crying shame we can't match their passion cos we were awful vs Lebanon
