So are you saying it's still 4 from the six or now including Pauli Pauli and Rocky?

You can't answer properly without knowing salaries and attitude in training etc but assuming you are saying they are all equal for that question then I'm brave enough to answer that. It's tough and unpopular but out of that list for next year:
Stay: Finn, Arona, Kirmond, MCB
Go with best wishes and sad heart: Crowther and Jowitt

Of course they are not equal.
I can't imagine Jowitt costs the same as Finn etc.
So the decision is harder because you'd probably be saying something like, we can keep PP for the same cost as Jowitt, Rocky and say MCB. That's a harder decision. Size of squad is as important as quality of initial 13.

I don't envy you the task. It's not easy when it's fantasy rugby manager.
But this is actually real lives and livelihoods.

Nothing wrong with people saying who their favourites are. It doesn't imply we think we can manage the club finances.

I'm assuming you are talking short term gain over long term building?

In theory I'd say keep a young prospect over an ageing talent.
But Finn has no natural replacement and is the general, so has to stay.
Arona is a cornerstone of a pack that is doing well with no natural replacement like for like. On field success has a big dependency on him.

Kirmond is unfortunately different. If Bach or even more likely Ashurst was on that list then Kirmond may have dropped into the Out category even though he is an outstanding captain and player, who I back wholeheartedly for the current team, as you may need to look to the future
I'd like to keep Max, and if it was a case of keep him and Keegan Hirst versus keeping PP, then PP would have to go as the two lower earners beat the one higher short term earner. But if it's Max or Finn I'd vote to keep Finn even though he doesn't have many years left as Max has a young replacement following behind him and Grix still has more years to go.
