Looks like Wire are going to go with two chunky wingers. Josh Charnley and Tom Lineham will take some stopping close up but neither are super fast and both have turning circles like cargo ships. Takes me back to when we had Neil Law and Waisale Sovatabua as our bookends.

would'nt call charnley chunky! And with 160+ Tries under his belt with wigan he's no slouch, and did'nt Lineham pick our pockets in the last minute at there place last year? So hope your statement does'nt bite you on the backside come friday.

Decent winger Charnley but wouldn't swap him for one of ours. Never seemed to kick on to the next level after the 2013 season / World Cup with a few injuries holding him back then went off to Union which I found a bizarre one as well but maybe he just wanted the money for his farm.

Very few players leave SL and return the same player, not just talKing about making the switch to Union, even the going off to play in the NRL.

I actually think wing play has evolved quite a bit since he has been away from the game as well.

When he left there was two or three players in the league that could perform the acrobatic dive into the corner, now it seems almost a given that every wing man has it in his locker, granted Charnley was a bit of a specialist himself in the one handed finishes.
