2 more seasons for Grix? Puke Dorn retired around 32/33 and he was quicker than Grix ever was, probably still is.

I'm still happy with Grix, I think he adds a decent amount of experience to our team and is comfortable in the side but correct if any of the Saints backs break against us on Sunday it'll be over before Grix even attempts to chase down...

I'd expect Grix to become more of a squad player as Max takes over the FB role.

I think I'd be looking at Luke Hooley to take over from Grix. A confident, classy full back as well as an accomplished goal kicker.

Dorn didn't retire, he went back to Oz and is still playing.

At the moment Jowitt is in line to take over at fullback spot.

Yes he did, he retired from professional rugby league, the fact he went home and plays for his local amateur team every now and then does not alter that fact or am i missing something?

Jowitt has been very patient, he deserves a good crack at the position. Hooley is potentially another good player coming through but can't seeing getting much of a chance this season unless there's an injury crisis.

Maybe Grix will do a similar thing to Ben Cockayne, and continue playing, but dropping down a level.
