Great Finny will be here on the coaching staff. Let's hope he can thrown. Spanner in the Leeds middle 8s campaign.

If he could stitch Cas up on Friday that would also be grand

He is mate, it's been announced he's on the coaching staff for next year. A great move by the club allowing Finny to see out his final year on the paddock.

I can only echo some of the posts already, Finn has been a great addition and has certainly been one of the reasons we moved forward as a top 8 team, his introduction to wakey was perfect timing and he has given all he could at this stage of his career. I really hope he goes onto the coach staff for 2019/20 as his mind and understanding of the game is still sharp as ever, but his body is probably not quite in condition for top 8 rugby, good luck Liam your effort was brilliant and should be proud of what you did in a wakey shirt

thanks finny! was great for us last year and the year before - one of the main reasons that we were in the top 8

Thank you Liam for your efforts with us.

Led us well around the pitch in 2016 and 2017, when the club were trying to regain stability on the pitch.

I think we have done that now, and I do feel the world cup last year, and his age is now beginning to catch up with him. Could be a smart move, adding him to the coaching staff

There's a certain irony that Finn is helping Widnes beat Cas. (Not saying he would've helped on Friday)
