For me kopczak would be massive signing and would improve our front row which i belive is at times weak id also we need a 6 or 7 to put pressure on miller and hampshire
We need to sign Hampshire up for next season, so if this doesn't happen, then yes, this will be a position we need to strengthen but if Hampshire does re sign, the back up option is going to be someone of the calibre of Jordan Lilley, because anyone higher profile, isn't going to play second fiddle.

Hampshire will be a wakey player next year and its up to him ots his first time at a sl club he gonna be first choice hb but with finn departure we will need back.personnoly dont like lilly but this is my worry are we gonna improve squad wise
But I haven't seen you tell us what Chester isn't doing right, you just say he is rubbish.
Cant motivate players...plays his favs for sake of it ..plays players out of postion cos he thinks its best. (Ok with injuries but we not had them)..reluctent to give youth a chance...signs players but wont play them then gets rid.(baldwinson)....laughs in aftermatch interviews after a loss

I used Lilley as an example, HKR snapped up Atkin from Swinton, so them gems in the lower leagues are there and would be a good fit for us.
I'm just wondering whether this group have reached their 'level.' It is seemingly a fine line between finishing in the bottom 4, and maybe not actually 4th, but this season 5th or 6th. We have had 3 good seasons, and when you consider 3 years ago where we were, on our budget, we have done really well. Mr. Bojo gets a lot of stick on here, and mostly quite rightly, but he was probably right when he said last season was a missed opportunity to achieve something really special, just a win or 2 away from potential glory, will we come that close again in the next few seasons?? That's kind of why I started this topic, are these players mentally tough enough to win important, close games, or do the coaching staff take some responsibility? because there just seems to be a pattern developing re. close results, and certain levels of performance against certain opposition, which has to change if we want to make it to the next level.
So reading between the lines it seems like this has got to be the coaching team that is causing this problem but only a couple of posters dare say it when you play like we did against Wigan & Saints & then the week after you haven't got a clue it can't be the players they come out for the first half & they play like the don't know each other that surely has to be something in training they surely can't be talking to each other before in the dressing room & saying "Right what are we doing this week" "Err don't know what you think" "I don't know don't ask me" but that's what it looks like so somebody must be at fault

Agree about Kopczak, he would be an excellent signing. We do need some cover in the halves, although Randall / Wood can cover those positions and to persuade a decent half to come to Wakey to only play if/when Miller or Hampshire need a break will be almost impossible. We would end up with another MCB situation. The ideal would be to have one of our academy halves who was good enough to cover the odd few games.

Well it is a bit alarming for me, going back to Saints at home, a great performance, then terrible at Salford, just a poor follow up, same with Hull at home then Friday. Also the challenge cup 'surrender.' Without starting another topic, I can't actually make my mind up whether i'm pleased with this season so far or disappointed?!? So over to everyone else, so far, pleased or disappointed???

I think that's a fair comment My opinion on that is in keeping the team together long term we will get that extra 1% or so improvement out of them to take the next step
I believe what we all want will come We have a great mix of youth and experience that will grow together
The only thing missing is some one to lead us round the park and a kicking game
More good things are on the horizon for us I am sure
