Personally don't see the issue but it's got plenty gnashing of teeth on totalrl. Apparently this is an example of how poorly RL players are treated, that along with Leigh players getting their contracts ripped up.

Had it been any other club I would still have the same opinion.

Looking at the Twitter thread, two days ago MC asked Carvell "which club is it this year" to which there is no response that I can see. Is this just mischief making about something that happened 12-18 months ago?

iirc he's been on the screwed end of contracts a couple of times, definitely at bradford a few years back and i want to say at salford. 1eagu3 ground to a halt due to lack of players interest i believe, despite people moaning about too many games, the salary cap not getting increased and rhino balls being helpful, no one wanted to get up off their arses and actually put pressure on the RFL/SL bods.

Carvel just trying to justify his job and make him self relevant

I have no probs if we asked players to contribute towards a trip abroad

That's a shame for him - but the WT training camp has absolutely no bearing on that; I'm at a loss to see how he thinks it does.

LOL now that's so unlike the shower that resides on there. They've nothing good to say at the best of times unless it's about the big clubs or expansion.
