We are still reportedly trying to do an alternative deal with Halifax for Tangata - he actually trained with us last Tuesday before the deal collapsed acco4ding to league express

And we are expected to sign him for next season.

The failure to sign these players suggest we will be looking at a further drop in standards in order to be successful to add a body or two. We would be better to save our money and go with what we have got.
We have to hope that the coaching team can do their job and coach the team to look like they at least know what they are doing especially in attack which is currently pretty dire.

We desperately need new bodies tangata would of been a great addition i hope we can still get summet over line..think if he where to come there would be many wanting to extend come endd off season

Tangata would hopefully be a long term signing if it comes off with Hansen short term to bolster our crumbling pack,both can do us a job and know how to tackle which has been half our problem. Dont get this age thing ,if he’s good enough and can add some steel in our defence get him a shirt on I say ,some our our younger players aren’t up to the job right now so make way for an old head who’s been there and done it .Im not too proud to ask from help from anywhere and neither should the club .

I think this is the deal they'll try to get over this line this week, after Chesters post game comments.

Quality player and I made the comment when he resigned with Halifax that we'd missed out on some quality. I reckon he's on Chester's radar after the shot he put on LMS in the Challenge Cup

yep one tackle and he becomes a must have, its desperation. At the moment the present squad need a rocket and must start to perform on a weekly basis. I keep hearing about the effort and team spirit, I just don't see it. Brough well under expectations and Pauli not used in the right manner. How come he can go to Salford and score 3close rang barg overs he needs to be used near the line and not expected to chase back to defend. Its been a number of crazy positional exchanges and swap deals gone wrong. I don't blame any player on the books at the moment not wanting to exchange and I totally agree with Reynolds and Rocky. Its simply not enough to expect other teams to not to win another game particularly when they are winning the odd game and we can not put a performance in.

Dale Ferguson has been released from Huddersfield today. Not sure if he is injured or not, but if we are struggling in the pack then I suspect we may be in for him.
