I dont think we (or anyone else) would sign a player like Escare to put him on the wing.
The guy has to be involved, which means either FB or in the Halves.

Rocky is ok on the wing but, who knows.
You cant see Hampshire or Jowitt being happy about signing another player to push either of them (or both) down the pecking order.

You obviously don't rate Jowitt as many on here don't.
I personally see him as our best FB
I have no idea if CC is to play this new guy at FB, only he knows that, I just don't see that as our problem position.

Jowett will never make it at the top level. His embarrassing effort on Gildart (a carbon copy of his effort against Atkins the previous year), showed he hasn't got the bottle needed.

I like him and want him to do well, but I feel Chester has had enough now.

Talented player and always unpredictable. The sort that will go 90 metres for a wonder try then drop the kick off under his posts! It will make things a bit more interesting for sure. Happy about it if it means Brough getting dropped and Rocky moving into the halves alongside Miller, less so if it means Rocky getting dropped. Feel a bit for Max though, he always seems to be Chesters scapegoat.

I would have been happy if he'd been signed at the beginning of the year for our full strength squad so I think it's been exceptionally good work to get him in now.
I can't believe anyone can find anything negative about it.

A few issues with this personally, justva signing I don’t really understand but CC knows his squad better than us and his plans so I guess if he thinks we need him then we must.

As others have said Rocky and Jowett got 1 covered but as others have said looks like Rocky in the halves and Jowett to Dewsbury!

Poor trainer poor attitude and poor discipline away from the field have always followed him sooner or later. Hopefully given he is with us for a relatively short period of time though that won’t be a problem and we get the electric Escare that was performing so well in his early Catalans and Wigan career before the attitude kicked in.

id go him at 1 rocky 7 Miller 6 based on pace but and it's a big but if we don't alter our style of play a bit and create some space it won't make any difference we're getting picked off way too easy
