Based on the way our season scanned out I can't imagine any of our players figuring in the Dream Team as good as Lyne was. Bennett didn't consider him for a test match appearance even when we had a severe lack of centres.

Think that says more about Bennett than Lyne.
New season. New opportunities to shine.
6 and 7 need to work the right as well as left this year.

Exactly PT. Lyne had an excellent season from our point of view and very possibly his, but the RL establishment tend to look elsewhere when handing out accolades.

For me, especially when there were a couple of injuries, Lyne should definitely have received the call.
Bennet is obviously a quality coach but, his selections last season were straight from the 1980's, with players picked by club, rather than form or ability to play in certain positions and "we" got what we deserved - a tour whitewash and becoming the laughing stock of the top tier International sides.
Great Britain were an utter embarrassment and the plus for Lyne (and others that weren't selected) was that he wasn't part of the shambles.

Lynne could have done a job both in centre or wing for GB, but bennet decided to pick a 2nd rower to cover one position and an Australian half back to cover the wing. As previously said, that says More about bennet than Lynne

I wonder if my Trinity stalker will mention this post to my son in training

Tanginoa for back row selection at 20/1.

Tanginoa is a right bet if he's 20/1. As someone who doesn't bet often, is there any small print?
Ie if say he plays more prop and gets selected in the dream team at Prop, do you still win? Or does it have to be specifically back row?

Can’t see 50p being a big loss

Generally I'd say you lose the bet as it stipulates the position but Sky Bet detail their rules as a void bet which means you get your money back.
Can't find anyone who would let you win it. Especially as the odds would be different.
It would have to be a manual adjustment by an operator so you'd have to challenge it at the time. If your bet was £10k they'd laugh and say no. If it was 10p they might give it to you to keep you betting.

Back rowers are a tough bet as there is lots of competition and as said they move positions.
Safe bet is more likely Fifita or Johnstone.

As someone has already mentioned, it'd be for that position only. If he's named in the dream team at Prop it'd be a loser.
It says 'others on request' so I'm presuming you could ask for a price on him at Prop?

Thanks for the replies on the betting. 20/1 is great odds, but he's so versatile he could play anywhere this year.
