Despite the name they will all kill a virus stone dead. A virus unlike bacteria is extremely fragile outside of its host. Some like this one can survive for a short while in the air though direct contact with UV will destroy most. The vast majority of virus of which this is one will be destroyed by direct contact with concentrate alcohol.
True, once it’s inside you the only thing that can defeat it is your own immune system, but wipes etc will help stop that being required.

Was in the Asda a couple of hours ago and they have completely sold out of ALL liquid soap and handwash gel, so it looks like it's vodka or nothing then !!!
