Excellent effort from the lads, just that extra bit of class from Roby in the second half was the difference for me. It’s another loss yes, but there’s no shame in this one. Josh Wood was excellent defensively and has to play every week. The forwards stood up and got in their faces, Saints were pretty poor but we didn’t allow them to settle.
Key now is to back it up next week. We’ve had good performances since the restart then been shocking the week after. The two Wigan games spring to mind. We set the standard today, now we have to stick to it.
