I think Salford will beat Leeds this weekend, even with the players they have out.
From what I have seen, Salford and Watson are confident in the squad that they can put out and make no excuses so I don't know why others are trying to come up with excuses for them?

Watson is always going to talk up their chances, it's his job.
We've seen this week what happened to Leeds youngsters v Warrington and to Salford's "rested" squad.
Btw, I wasn't making excuses, I was making a valid point as to whether the final is devalued when a club, through no fault of their own, has to put out a "weakened" side.
As I said, it's not great when to keep the opposition "safe" you effectively put your own side at a huge disadvantage.
I notice that you chose not to reply on what may have happened if Leeds had been affected in the same way or, whether there is a point where the game should actually be postponed ?
In the current climate, it seems a reasonable pint for discussion, rather than glibly dismissing it.?
What would your view be if there were further covid tests before the final and the whole squad (of either club) was forced to quarantine.
As for Salford beating Leeds with 8 first choice players missing, unless it's a smokescreen, not a chance.
Mind you, if you're right and put a few bob on the game, there is some easy money to be made ?
