So you're saying, in exchange for de-furloughing a load of staff and spending a fortune on making their stadia covid-secure the hosting teams should lose the chance to make any money back later by all their games being deemed home games ?
Best of luck getting anyone to volunteer to host them.
Please explain this "Bid" process you mention? I believe at the restart Leeds, Huddersfield, Warrington, Salford and St Helens all put bids forward to host matches, since then the Covid "Secure" venues where decided upon by the RFL’s Clinical Advisory Group, they looked at all stadia throughout SL and also other options outside of SL and decided on the venues that currently meet the governments expectations.
Also it is my understanding the neutral venues in terms of game preparation, strict cleaning protocols and controlling of "Zones" as part of the neutral venue process is all funded by Super league, Inclusive of reimbursement of others costs associated with hosting games.
