Nothing quite that bad on here but I've had to intercept quite a few idiots who only come on here to cause trouble.
Simple rule for me.... remember there is a real person on the other end of any post you make about an individual at the club or a poster on the forum.

Way out of order and i’d like to see people that post like that banned from social media and punished through law. But the sad thing is it doesn’t surprise me anymore. It’s becoming a bigger and bigger problem and the social media companies only ever pay lip service to trying to root it out and as such it will continue.

The lack of moderation on social media platforms is a massive issue worldwide, organisations like Facebook just don`t moderate in the way they should, that said I blame the idiots posting such messages and hiding behind a keyboard. I agree with the so called "Controversial" calls to have to validate identity with the use of social media, I think that would go a long way to stopping the majority of issues although I am sure there would still be some. I go by the rule, if I wouldn`t say it in real life, face to face then I would not say it on social media.

This certain situation is nothing short of disgusting, by all means have pop and voice your opinion but I just can`t get into my head how someone can think that is okay, how does it even come into someone's head?

If it's the incident that Mopsey states well it's hardly a credible death threat its obviously a young kind spouting rubbish in the heat of the moment. Obviously, I would condemn it. Call me a cynic but this stinks of creating a victim narrative to deflect further critisim of what a large percentage of Wakey fans would call the ludicrous situation in the continued employment of CC. I think after what the fans have donated in last season ticket money I think it's in pretty poor taste to make threats of walking away over what (in my opinion) is a proxy argument for wider criticism of his tolerance of the worst coaching record in SL history.

When do you stop being a "young kid"? That's just a term to deflect responsibility for someone who is an adult and needs to take accountability for there own actions.

For what its worth, when I first saw the article, similar thoughts crossed my mind though to what you post, Carter will obviously back Chester no matter what and it`s frustrating, even against the people that pay his wages and keep the club going, it`s quite clear to see that and has in the past made me consider walking away from supporting the club, and I don`t quite get the post "Time to Stop it now", time to stop what? Having an opinion because one idiot took it too far?

No, I`m am 100% still of the opinion that Chester needs to go and he is not up to the job regardless of this idiot posting what he has.

These people have always existed, it not new. In fact there are probably less of them these days.

However social media has given those who remain an absolute field day.

It’s very simple. Make all sites moderated road recognised minimum standard by law and then give the enforcement agency teeth. At the same time all users must register to any legit site with a credit card.

The latter will stoop 99.99% of this super serious stuff in its tracks.

As for non legit sites laws already exist to deal with them just requires a government with the will to enforce them.

Absolutely disgusting! Another sad indictment of the Britain of today. I hope whoever the threats were made against has the strength of character to utterly dismiss this bile. It's about time all this Facebook, Tweet and other so-called social -media rubbish was eradicated.altogether.
