Why are we bothered?
1) Aren't we always crowing that Giants don't take fans away?
2) We didn't sell the ground out on our own last time
3) I think the currency in Huddersfield is legal tender in Wakefield.

Seems like there are a few of us knocking about in HD8 or on the Wakefield / Huddersfield border. Strangely not many Giants fans around here though? I've chatted to Trinity fans in my surrounding area when I've had my colours on and been stopped in the street or in the supermarket etc. Grange Moor, Lepton, Waterloo, Flockton, Bretton to name a few.

This will be a very good game to see how much we have improved.

Shudds are a good team with their talisman No.7.

Luke Yates is a big miss for them.

If our 1,6 & 7 fire like last Sunday, there's always hope. Let's try and keep the momentum going for the week after too.

I got my tickets on Sunday afternoon about 5.30 from the internet. They only seemed to be available for west paddock wherever that is> I will bring my compass .

No idea how many Giants fans will be there but I would expect a good showing.

As for Covid what a fook up the government is making of this with people now told not to travel to or travel from Kirklees but that not being announced or publicised just added to the government website.

I am travelling from Durham so am safe to mix with people from Wakefield . Anyone else with a giants shirt I would keep away from !!

How are you for injuries we have two injured who would have played but they have been missing all season so not a loss really.

Losing Yates is a blow .

Will Westerman be playing ? As from what I have seen he seems to be your new Danny Kirmond inspiring players around him. I actually thought he might have been a bit of a pension plodder but he seems to have been superb from what I have seen.

Other than Johnstone we’ll be pretty much full strength, Kyle Wood is expected to be back. Big Dave still has sore ribs but he can play through it, he’s not seen his ribs for 20 years anyway.
