You’re not in any way biased?

TBF on Poching it’s not a point where he’s going to take risks and Senior has far more experience.

Personally I don’t think Senior is all that bad a player but he’s still fairly green Your lad is even greener, excuse the pun.

Get this game out of the way, then wait till Leigh are relegated points wise, then give the kids a go. That would be my strategy, pressure off and every game from then on treated as a trial game for both youngsters and regular squad members.

You’re not in any way biased?

TBF on Poching it’s not a point where he’s going to take risks and Senior has far more experience.

Personally I don’t think Senior is all that bad a player but he’s still fairly green Your lad is even greener, excuse the pun.

Get this game out of the way, then wait till Leigh are relegated points wise, then give the kids a go. That would be my strategy, pressure off and every game from then on treated as a trial game for both youngsters and regular squad members.

Play like last week and we will give ourselves a decent chance of a back to back win.

My enthusiasm has been knocked out of me by a combination of things. String of poor results and I honestly detest the six again and ball strip rules. Then the somewhat overbearing influence of the referees. The game isn’t as exciting as it was and it’s largely down to current rules and officials imho.

I’ve been watching trinity for 25 years and I have been to probably 80% of games up till the pandemic. I still love the trin but my motivation has been hard to keep up.

Attending wakey games became a habit. The pandemic broke that and I have been doing other things like taking my kids swimming or having trips out recently. I honestly think a lot of people have found other things to spend their £100-200 per month on with the enforced break.

I can go tomorrow if I want and I’m 50/50 whether to or do something with the kids instead. You would have had to drag me away kicking and screaming 2 years ago.

TBH attending away games has no real benefit to the club, so long as you attend most home games that’s all that is required imho.

This pretty much sums up where i'm at to be honest, for me the game has gone stale and it just doesn't float my boat like it used to and the way the sport is run has also helped kill virtually all my enthusiasm. I've got 'do' to attend tomorrow and usually a clash with a game would wind me up. Now i'm not fussed i'm missing it. There used to be a group of a dozen that went to games home & away. Down the line our kids came along. Now the kids just aren't interested and it's down to just me and my mate this year and next season highly likely niether of us will have a season ticket. This malaise seems to be a problem throughout the game and the constant sanitisation of the rules and the robotic styles of play aren't going to turn the tide anytime soon.

To answer the op, it's tough getting up for this one.
We haven't come close to beating them in who knows how long and with the mickey poor last 2 1/2 seasons, the Cas domination looks set to continue for another week.

That said, 3 of us going and "looking forward" to the game, just hoping we dont get mullered.
Of course, every loss brings us closer to victory and maybe, just maybe, that will be tomorrow and then,
it will be worth the pain.

Getting caught in a shower of bottles some years ago has led us to not attend evening games there. Being herded back into WR was frightening.

Of course I'm biased, but that doesn't make me wrong. How often is senior first in to a tackle, how many times does he just stick and arm out, how many times does he just stand there or just slowly trot behind the player that's just beaten him on the outside. Have a watch at the Wigan highlights from the away game a couple of weeks ago to see 3 tries that's totally highlight all those points, and they are not in isolation
As for bags more experience, he's only played 2 SL games more at Centre
Anywaysup he can't be recalled until 30th August so not many SL games he could possibly get a chance in regardless of results
