I see that's fair enough then, although no doubt they get annual increases to get to the top of the band?

Yes 100%. The starting salary has increased over the last few years as it was lower. Wasn’t exactly an appetising Sum considering the training, repayments and responsibilities etc.

It's always been like that though. When I started work as a junior in a lab on a pittance some of my mates were getting a right wedge on sites and driving for example. Must have taken me about 10 years to pass them and then accelerate away.

Just two points.

It's a stepping stone.

It doesn't give the hours, it may only be five hours a day, in which case 25k ain't bad and it leaves s lot of scope to do other private practice.

Let's not jump to conclusions, we must know the going rate.

I imagine Ryan has now moved a notch up and is going to pastures new.

We seem to assume that every time someone leaves it's a slur on the club when it's just life. Ryan is a physio, not a Trin fan.

Probably needed to be honest. Nothing against Clawson or anyone else but a shake up will probably help.

The skill is knowing when to stop, it’s a fine line between imposing your style and looking like it’s jobs for the boys. I don’t think Poching is anywhere near that yet but FWIW slowly slowly catchy monkey as they say, it can’t all happen overnight.

Be more obvious how far WP is willing to go when we see the final squad.

Interesting times after a very steady period since 2016.

I don't think we're far off the finished 1st team squad, I predict 26 maybe 28 1st teamers and then a smattering of reserves and academy lads making up the numbers when necessary
