For a Wakefield fan to complain about the having no away fans is laughable. If yourselves, Huddersfield, Cas, Salford etc take more than a coach load it's an event. There was around 9,000 at Toulouse tonight, almost 12,000 for Catalan v HKR, both those were all pay, no season tickets. Just compare the home attendances of Catalan v the clubs I mentioned over the last five or six years or more.
It's up to the home supporters to fill their grounds, the away support is a bonus.
Toulouse deserve their place, as would Featherstone had they won tonight.
it that the way you want games to go lifeless of opposition no atmosphere between two sides, if that's the case I'm out

What a joke you are.
Wigan now reduced to gates of 5000 id have preferred Fev over you as they have more fans than you.
Cas take way more fans to away games than you and they stop to the end. Hudds also beat you, these days you’re on a par with Salford.
You’re either blind or you’ve broken every window in that glass house you’re living in.

There was 8.000 according to Sky but we'll call it 9 if it makes you happy, it was a one off million pound game which we ourselves have been involved in against Bradford who fetched 1500 fans in a crowd of 9000, unfortunately some of those Wakey fans only turned up for the day lets hope those at Toulouse don't do the same, I along with a lot of other Wakey fans used to turn out on a regular basis at Wigan but don't bother no more, a bit like your fans whose support has dropped alarmingly especially your away support, admittedly we don't travel in the same numbers any more, but to lump us in with those two really is quite insulting, as for Cas I'd bet that apart from FC and Leeds are as well supported as any team.
So we're now supposed to pay for 2 trips to France. Weekends for Magic and Wembley plus Grand Final.
All for people having an opinion and that but don’t chat absolute rubbish to suit your agenda, unless of course you are joking.
You’re not supposed to do anything. It is made available for you to do should you do wish, 2 trips to France for the average person from Wakefield is probably not feasible so it one or the other. Magic Weekend is available on Sky but only in Newcastle, we don’t play the full weekend so technically it’s just like any other away day and let’s be real, we don’t make the cup/grand finals so don’t worry about it.
The main reason I don't travel to Lancashire games is the horrendous traffic on the M62 for an evening game.
How long do you think it takes for fans to travel from France, which is why we're having this discussion.
How long did it used to take is to travel from Lancashire to Yorkshire and vice versa pre M62 and we had 20,000 crowds. Until we get "fans" off their bar stools and couches to the games then we're only going one way, downhill and fast.
I'm sick and tired of the moaning and whining from rugby fans in general.
I am with you guys but, Catalan have been used to two away games on the trot & Two home games on the trot ! This to reduce travelling & costs to them, SO, does this continue & will this apply to Tolouse ? Therefore does an English club travel away & stay in France to play two away games on the trot or travel twice ? Then the fixture list will not work for all English clubs due to numbers, WHO gained the advantage of less of more travelling ? With regards to refs & lines men & in goal judges, extra time travel, all English or dare I say all French or a mixture ? Covid restriction could play a part, Tolouse have benefited once on less fixtures, all @ home & ℅ ratio ! More in-ept times to occur & don't hold your breath with the RFL sorting this one out !
It would make sense for say, Catalans play at home Saturday, and Toulouse play Sunday at Home the Sam weekends, that way the English match officials can cover both games, then return to England after the Sunday game, it would be 2 games officiated for the price of 1.
Have to agree with Rogues Gallery on this one. Whatever happens in rugby league a fair proportion of fans will moan about it. The comments on this thread are the perfect example.
