Horrible tackle. Can’t imagine what he was thinking.
Sick of hearing about him tbh. This forced publicity is doing a young lad with barely 15 first team appearances more hard than good imo. He’s got a lot to prove on the pitch yet.
I feel sorry for the lad to be honest. He is carrying the Pryce name which instantly comes with a ton of expectation mainly from the press who then whip the fans into unrealistic expectations. Everything he has done so far has been scrutinised, most of which has been very positive up to now, way more than any other lad at the same stage of their career in the last few years.
I do think he is a very very good player already but if he is to reach his potential then he just needs to keep learning and paying his dues. I understand his dad is mentoring him on the mistakes he made and hopefully he learns from this and gets working hard on the training field for the next 10 weeks.
There are lots of good young players coming through at all clubs and they just need to be left to get on with it, if they have a famous name it's a good story for the media but an unwanted comparison. They just need to be their own player and make their own path.
When I am out and about watching the youth game all the parents know if one of the lads on the field is related to an ex-player and often the instruction is to keep an eye on him more than others....and this is as young as u12's!
Poor Umyala Hanley pretty much had it from the day he picked up a ball.
